| Woods Reserve. | Canberra/Tidbinbilla area. Situated on the banks of Gibraltar Creek, the Woods Reserve Recreation Area is a popular venue for picnics, barbeques and camping. Located south of Canberra on Corin Road, it is 5.4 km from the Tidbinbilla Road turn-off and only 15 minutes from Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve and Corin Forest Mountain Recreation Resort. Gibraltar Falls is located upstream from Woods Reserve, a few minutes drive south on Corin Road. From the Gibraltar Falls car park there is a short gravel track to the lookout. Facilities include: picnic shelter and picnic tables; wood fired (BYO firewood) and gas BBQs; and flushing toilets, hot showers and washing-up facilities. Please note the following: available for day use as well as overnight camping; bookings essential for large functions and camping; pets allowed; and access code to the amenities given when bookings are approved. | Wee Jasper Reserves | Located in N.S.W, near the village of Wee Jasper at the north western foot of the Brindabella Ranges, close to Burrinjuck Dam in the heart of Capital Country. The Reserves are only an hour or so from Tumut, Yass or Canberra.The Wee Jasper Valley offers all sorts of outdoor and underground activities. The Reserves and surrounding areas are a haven for native animals and birds. The night sky is simply amazing.
